We are proud to announce that we’ve been selected as one of the top 10 global startups in the FIA Global Startup Contest. This 1-million-dollar contest, launched by Digital Leaders Ventures (DLV) and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), is supported by numerous great companies including Michelin, ENEL, Julius Baer, and Formula E. The contest is held four times a year on four continents – and this July, it is coming to our home city of Montreal, Canada.
As one of the finalists, C2RO has been recognized by the competition as an “early-stage startup who builds a disruptive and scalable business with the potential to change the world”. The next step: a 30-minute pitch to the jury at Pitch Day on this Thursday, July 27. The winning startup of this competition will receive the title “FIA Smart Cities Startup 2017”, and $100,000 USD in investments from the DLV.
In addition to Pitch Day, events on the schedule include Conference Day, which will take place on July 28 at Montréal ePrix, and the Formula E race on July 29.
